Starting point
Lindners Boxenstopp provides vehicle servicing, repairs and bodywork at two workshop locations in Euerhausen and Veitshöchheim. The business also includes a Volkswagen dealership in Volkach. Its external presence therefore spans several locations and different service areas. Marketing and external communications were already in place, but there was no overarching strategic framework connecting objectives, target audiences, channels and activities.
Challenge
The central challenge was not a lack of ideas or possible marketing activities. What was missing was a clear basis for assessing which activities made sense for which audiences and how they contributed to the company’s objectives.
This required answering several fundamental questions and connecting them coherently: Which customer groups should be addressed? What needs and expectations shape these groups? Which channels can reach them? And which concrete activities can systematically develop the company’s communications?
Solution
Bobineau Communications supports the Lindners Boxenstopp with strategic marketing and communications consulting. First, relevant target audiences were identified and made tangible through personas. Based on this work, a channel strategy and framework for external communications were developed. This made it possible to derive clearly which groups should be addressed through which channels and with which activities.
The collaboration did not end with the strategy. Bobineau Communications continues to provide the Lindners Boxenstopp with regular recommendations for its external presence and supports the ongoing evaluation and development of its communications.
Results
The strategic consulting created greater consistency in marketing. Target audiences, channels and activities could be connected systematically rather than treated as separate issues. Marketing and external communication processes also became more structured. The company now has a clearer basis for prioritising activities, making transparent decisions and developing its external presence step by step.
