In principle, the programme is aimed at legally independent small and medium-sized companies and members of the liberal professions with their registered office and business operations in Germany, provided they meet the requirements of the applicable funding guidelines.

HOW IT WORKS
Four steps to funded consulting

Introductory call
We discuss your project and make an initial assessment of whether funding may be possible in principle.

BAFA application
The funding application must be submitted through the BAFA online portal before consulting begins.
- 03
Approval stage and consulting
Consulting may only begin after the relevant information letter has been received. We then carry out the agreed consulting project.
- 04
Proof of use
After the consulting project is completed, the required documentation is submitted. BAFA decides whether funding is approved and the amount of the subsidy.

The maximum eligible consulting costs are currently €3,500. In western German states, including Bavaria, the funding rate is 50%, giving a maximum subsidy of €1,750. In certain other regions, up to 80% or a maximum of €2,800 may be funded.
Under the current funding guidelines, a maximum of five completed consulting projects can be funded, with no more than two per year.
No. The subsidy must first be applied for online. Consulting may only begin after the relevant information letter has been received. Even signing a consulting contract can count as the start of the consulting project.
The programme is designed for individually delivered business consulting. Stand-alone seminars or workshops are not eligible.
No. Bobineau Communications can assess the basic eligibility of a consulting project and support the process. The final review, approval and payment are carried out by BAFA or the competent authorities.
